Wondercon 2018, DC Comics Universe, New Justice and July 2018 Solicitations Spoilers follow.
A Batman-Led Young Justice Outsiders Type Team, Titans and Hawkman Spinning Out Of Justice League No Justice?!
Under a new imprint called New Justice, these three books join a new Justice League, a new Justice League Dark series, Justice League Odyssey and Teen Titans.
(1) Titans will be written by Dan Abnett and feature Nightwing, Raven, Beast Boy, Ms. Martian and Steel. The upcoming Titans Special may give clues.
I expect to see some characters on his team reflective of the upcoming TV series; I’m hoping for Hawk and Dove.
(2) A yet-to-be named super-team spinning out of the upcoming Detective Comics arc with Batman and Black Lightning training young heroes. The writer of that arc and upcoming series is expected to be Bryan Edward Hill.
Black Lightning and Batman were on an Outsiders team back in the day and Young Justice animated series returns for Season 3 called Young Justice: Outsiders so I’m thinking synergy and that is the name of the new team book.
(3) Hawkman will also be part of the New Justice imprint. That book is written by Robert Vendetti with art by Bryan Hitch.
