The Book Reveals Who Wins The Deadly Game! The Challenger Or The Grandmaster? The Immortal Hulk Is The Difference Maker!
The book opens with the usual dramatis personae.
The book opens with Wonder Man vs. The Immortal Hulk and the Hulk revealing his nightmarish intentions for supposedly siding with the Challenger vs. the Grandmaster in their “game”.
Even Rogue is unsuccessful ending the battle, but she does reach Bruce Banner despite the Immortal Hulk’s raging.
The Challenger continues to influence the Hulk to get into the safe, defeat Voyager and get the last pyramoid.
The Hulk breaks through, confronts Voyager who makes an unexpected decision (full spoilers here), before getting his hands on the pyramoid that he destroys this hurting the Challenger who is presumably in league with.
The Grandmaster has won the game seemingly, but he offers the Challenger a rematch…
…which he wants none of. Can an Elder die? We’ll find out soon.
