Who Are The Omega Titans? What Is Brainac’s Plan To Save The Universe? How Does Amanda Waller & The Suicide Squad Screw It All Up?

Brainiac seemingly attacks Earth and comes into conflict with Superman and rather easily captures the various heroes in the vicinity.

He convinces them, even Superman, that there is a threat big enough to have them all ally together.

The breaking of the Source Wall at the end of Dark Nights: Metal has caught the attention of four cosmic beings, the Omega Titans, named Entropy, Mystery, Wisdom and Wonder. They plan to go back and reabsorb planets they seeded millennia ago to see which Omega brother is the true intelligence of the universe.

Starro believes that while the heroes of Earth are formidable, they do not embrace formations that could help the Earth the most; the Justice League and its heroes are complacent and comfortable. They need a shot of villainy and anti-heroism?!

At the same time Amanda Waller of the Suicide Squad infamy has recast Task Force XI (a different team from the usual Task Force X and even the heavy hitters of Task Force XL) to the world’s top telepaths in a plan to hack Brainiac and take him down for good; she doesn’t have the context for his perceived attack of Earth and kidnapping of its heroes.

An Omega Titan attacks Colu, Brainiac’s home planet of origin, and he gives the various formations of the Justice League he created a list of planets and the order in which they need to be visited to thwart the Omega Titans.

At the same time, Amanda Waller’s Task Force XI attacks and…

…seemingly destroys Brainiac in Superman’s arms!

Stay tuned next week for part 2 of 4 of Justice League No Justice.
