There’s a lot of interesting moments in the book, but none moreso than when Batman confronts Ozymadias having read about him in the new Rorschach’s journal.
Ozymandias physically and mentally wages battle with Batman. Ozymandias can save the world, negotiate peace treaties, whereas Batman just fights crooks.
At the same time we see Mime and Marionette doing their crazy crime shenanigans…
…while at the same time too an aged Johnny Thunder finds the JSA’s Alan Scott’s Green Lantern battery.
Mob justice, crazed citizens, attack Thunder with the Green Lantern battery…
…as the partner for Mime and Marionette is revealed…
