DC Comics Universe, Justice League (#4) and The Flash #50 Spoilers follows.

Flash War Part 4 Finale Reveals The Sage Force and Strength Force Powers, Plus The Still Force and Zero Hour Fate Of Hypertime?!

We know from the post Justice League No Justice / New Justice Era launch of the new Justice League series that we have in total seven hidden forces in the universe that the Legion of Doom are after (spoilers here).

Two of the six hidden forces are the Flash centric Still Force, presumably what powered all Flash villain the turtle, plus the Greem Lantern emotional spectrum centric invisible Ultraviolet that Sinestro has traded in his yellow fear spectrum for.

That leaves the Sage and Strength Forces revealed by Zoom, Hunter Zolomon, in the Flash War arc; it does not appear to be part of the Seven Forces as only one is tied to the Flash from what Lex Luthor explained early in Justice League to his Legion of Doom colleagues…

…Doom referring to fate not evil BTW.

These two new forces were further explained in The Flash #50 as the Strength Force provides strength…

…while the Sage Force provides wisdom not a herb, but the philosophical description of someone who is wise, e.g. someone that provides sage advice. (BTW, why do all the “forces” start with an “S”; Speed Force, Still Force, Strength Force and Sage Force?)

For folks that don’t recall what Hypertime is, here is an early explanation from…

…the sequel to 1996’s Kingdom Come from 1999 call The Kingdom.

Well in 2018, Hypertime still exists…

…however it seems to being destroyed by some kind…

…white destructive entropy…

…similar that what we saw in 1994’s Zero Hour.

However, in Zero Hour, we also saw the bright white of the Big Bang and the rekindling and beginning of the multiverse.

So, death or rebirth for Hypertime? However, we do know that the Flashes can no longer travel through time as a result of the Flash War finale (full spoilers here) despite a major Flash hero being freed from the Force barrio (full spoilers here).

Could this have something to do with recently revealed Inmate: Crisis? Could it be the Anti-Monitor, a Monitor or something else tied to 1985’s the Crisis on Infinite Earths event?

Time will tell (pun intended). More on the seven hidden forces expected in Justice League #4…

…on stands on July 18, 2018.
