According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Shawn Michaels/Undertaker promo segment from Monday’s RAW was less about The Undertaker’s match against Triple H in Australia and more about feeling out the audience’s appetite for an in-ring return for HBK.
The segment on Monday quickly turned from promoting WWE Super Show-Down to Michaels claiming he only stayed retired out of respect for ‘Taker while ‘Taker believes it the fear of losing to The Deadman again. Michaels has said in recent interviews that if he was to return, it would be likely for a tag team match and be for one night only. Well it appears that one night will be at the next big WWE event in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd as the WWE is current receiving more money for producing big on those shows than even at WrestleMania. The smart money seems to be on Michaels reuniting D-X with Triple H to battle Undertaker and possibly Kane as the Brothers of Destruction.
