It was a tie or an agree to stop fighting deal.
In addition to resolving the question of whether Slade Wilson or Bruce Wayne was Damian Wayne / Robin’s real dad (full spoilers here), the book also tackled the Batman vs. Deathstroke battle. Who would win?
They attempt to exit a caved-on Batcave while police attempt to exercise a search warrant at Wayne Manor. Jericho, Deathstroke’s son, has the power to take over the minds of others. He takes over a pliceman and convinces the other he has a court order stopping the search, but it’s really a restaurant menu.
The book ends with Bruce Wayne as Deathstroke confronting Slade Wilson’s ex-wife Adeline Kane about the falisied blood reports showing Damian Wayne was Slade’s son not Bruce’s. Turns out, who was behind it, wasn’t Adeline, but…
…Bruce Wayne’s ex-girlfriend Talia Al Ghul, and mother to Damian Wayne / Robin.
She wants to have kids with Slade as they would be poweful offspring. He’s been snipped and says no dice.
