The book ends with a détente between Atlantis and the United States as Queen Mera shows the U.S. Foreign Minister that an Admiral went rogue and told Amanda Waller, head of Task Force X / Suicide Squad, to sink Atlantis before Satanus changed the plans for personal greed.
