Hot on the heels of Ozark‘s second season, standout star Julia Garner is ready to star in her second Netflix hit.
The talented young actress who became a mainstay on the indie film circuit appearing in titles that include Martha Marcy May Marlene and The Perks of Being a Wallflower now finds herself starring in Maniac alongside Jonah Hill and Emma Stone.
Set in a world somewhat like our world, in a time quite similar to our time, Maniac tells the stories of Annie Landsberg (Emma Stone) and Owen Milgrim (Jonah Hill), two strangers drawn to the late stages of a mysterious pharmaceutical trial, each for their own reasons.
I had the chance to catch up with the actress to discuss the show and how she expects her character to develop in the sophomore season.
