According to the same source that broke Neville’s walkout and Shawn Michaels’ return has ruled out more winners of the 2019 Royal Rumble.
Word is that the winner will now be a repeat winner of a previous Rumble. This effectively eliminates Daniel Bryan and The Miz, both of whom had been rumored to win the big match in January. With this new information, the rumor that The Rock could return to win the Rumble holds a lot more weight (the only other time he won the Rumble was way back in 2000). Rock would then presumably challenge his cousin Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.
Also, a new report reveals that the Saudi General sports authority wishes to see The Great One carry the title when WWE travels to the Middle East next year and has offered a whopping US$24 million to The Rock to appear as the champion.
