DC Comics Universe and Nightwing #51 Spoilers follows.
How Severe Is Dick Grayson’s Brain Trauma and Who Is The New Gun-Toting Nightwing?!
The police find Nightwing lair, that he destroyed last issue, and now they know why they haven’t seen Nightwing in two weeks.
At the same time, Nightwing now goes by Ric Grayson instead of Richard or Dick…
…as he grapples with acquired brain injury (ABI).
He is jarred awake in the bar…
…where a Mister Pennyworth has befriended him earlier.
We see that Ric has lots of memories about things, like classic cars, but not firm memories of people…
…yet he does have glimpses of his parents the Flying Graysons from their circus days.
In an alley, Ric is attacked and his Nightwing muscle memory kicks in and he easily subdues the assailant.
The book ends with a police officer in Nightwing’s destroyed lair…
…becoming the new Nightwing!
