BREAKING NEWS: WWE Will Meet Its Contractual Obligations and Keep Crown Jewel 2018 PPV In Saudi Arabia As Planned! Which WWE Superstars Will Back Out? #BloodMoney

WWE’s Q3 statement included the below:

WWE has operated in the Middle East for nearly 20 years and has developed a sizable and dedicated fan base. Considering the heinous crime committed at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, the Company faced a very difficult decision as it relates to its event scheduled for November 2 in Riyadh. Similar to other U.S.-based companies who plan to continue operations in Saudi Arabia, the Company has decided to uphold its contractual obligations to the General Sports Authority and stage the event. Full year 2018 guidance is predicated on the staging of the Riyadh event as scheduled.

The controversy around continuing with this PPV in Saudi Arabia follows credible allegations of the role of the Saudi Arabia’s Royal Family and Government in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

So far, John Cena and Daniel Bryan appear to be forgoing attending the PPV which would change two marquee matches on the PPV if true.

Daniel Bryan is currently vying for the WWE Championship against A.J. Styles on the PPV.

While John Cena is currently scheduled for the World Cup match.

However, Hulk Hogan has recently publicly said that he looks forward to attending Saudi Arabia with the WWE leading many to believe that he’ll be at the PPV.

It had been reported that WWE had found an alternate venue for the PPV in New York State, but WWE seems to have chosen to stay the course instead.
