Then we see Cain Marko, the Juggernaut, attacking the X-Men…
…including his brother Charles Xavier!
However, this is all in the Juggernaut’s head as a consequence of the acolytes of Cyttorak who fuels the gem that gives him his powers. They no longer thinks he’s worthy of the gem.
Despite being on an adventure in his head, Juggernaut realizes the only way to stop the unstoppable Juggernaut is to do it himself! So, he does and it snaps him out of the heady adventure…
…to face Cyttorak!
The Juggernaut initiates a battle…
…pleasing Cyttorak…
…who believes that Juggernaut remains worthy of the gem…
…after which the Juggernaut heads off to his next adventure with his childhood self occupying some more of his head space for better or for worse.
The last X-Men Black one-shot focuses on Emma Frost!
That one-shot is out next week on Halloween, October 31, 2018.
