Early in his career, Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre scored a TV movie hit when he directed Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot. Nearly two decades later, Tobe would get another chance to adapt a King story to the screen with The Mangler. He brought along two horror icon with Ted Levine (Silence of the Lambs and Monk) and Robert Englund (Freddie Krueger) in a tale of a laundry service with major issues.
