The book opens with establishing Kamandi and the Great Disaster storyline in DC continuity and not exclusively on an alternate Earth. In the main DC continuity it takes place hundreds of years after Batman Beyond, but before the Legion of Super-Heroes. That then puts Electric Warriors a few hundred years before the LOSH.
We meet who believe will become an Electric Warrior. He is a scrappy guy.
Later in the issue, our hero and a water dweller…
…for the first time ever…
…become Earth’s two Electric Warriors instead of their usually being one.
Our hero’s red cape is actually the one Superman wore!
Our book begins to end with our hero’s brother turning on him for…
… seemingly noble reasons.
The final pages take place in Sector 666, the sector of the Manhunteres Massacre, and birth of rage for the Red Lanterns and the reveal of this series’ villain…
….Firestorm?
On top of that, we understand that the series will bridge to and set-up the future farther in the horizon, the time of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
