On Monday night’s performance finale of The Voice, finalists Chris Kroeze, Chevel Shepherd, Kennedy Holmes and Kirk Jay squared off for the final time before the winner is crowned. The contestants were each asked to sing a solo cover, an original song and a duet with their respective coach.
I caught up with Kennedy Holmes on the red carpet immediately after the show to get her take on her final competitive performances of the season. I asked Kennedy where her confidence comes from. We also talked about how she has gotten the chance to dance on the show and if she feels like this has given her an advantage on a show typically known only for its singing talent. I asked the Team JHud member if she thought that the other country-singing finalists would split the vote and we ended the interview with her picking her favourite performance of the night.
