- Livewire #1 – I have high hopes for this new Valiant series that features one of the best characters in their universe, the writing of the very impressive Vita Ayala, and great looking Raul Allen art. I’m down.
A few titles are ending this week that are worth noting.
- Extermination has been decent, and with the last issue coming out, I can finally read the epilogue comic that was published a couple of weeks ago.
- Beasts of Burden has been good, and I hope we see the dogs again soon. The latest Darth Vader series has been fizzling out – I hope Marvel takes some time before relaunching this yet again.
- I’m also looking forward to new issues of Days of Hate, Gideon Falls, Outcast, The Warning, Captain America, Iceman, Killmonger, Punisher, Uncanny X-Men, Black Badge, and Friendo.

- Exiles #11 – As I sat down to write my thoughts on this week’s comic releases, I saw that Exiles was cancelled. Not a real surprise unfortunately, this book has had a hard time getting its footing after the initial run. I love the concept, and the execution here was solid, but I kind of knew it wouldn’t be around all that long. Maybe they should just do some Exiles mini-series or specials every now and then…
- Extermination #5 – Awkwardly creeping to the finish line since we have already gotten 6 issues of Uncanny X-Men and the epilogue to this story. Not expecting a lot of big impact from this finale…but hey at least it came out before X-Force launched from it, so small victories… Spider-Geddon and Infinity Wars also wrap up this week.
- Freedom Fighters #1 – Kind of odd that we get a Freedom Fighters series but JSA continues to not exist. This is set on Earth X (Nazis won World War 2), so it should be a good read…But where are my JSA???
- Livewire #1 – One of my favorite Valiant characters finally gets her own book! Really looking forward to this one, especially since she has established herself as an outlaw after Harbinger Wars 2.
