Maybe Tiger Woods is to big of a “project” for Hank Haney.
Haney and Woods have been working together for more than 6 years. A period that had its fair share of highs and lows, both on the scorecard and off.
There were rumors floating around the Player’s Championship last weekend that Woods was ready to move on from Haney, but on Monday Woods said he was still working with Haney.
Then Monday Night Haney and Woods talked and Haney told Woods he was stepping aside as his swing coach. Haney had nothing but positive things to say about Woods as a person and player.
After withdrawing from last weeks Player’s Championship with a sore neck this is going to require an MRI, Woods does not know when he’ll be able to play again.
