Cast Of “Avengers” Rumored For Expanded Oscar Duties

News

JoBlo reports that the Oscars may have a plan for their first hostless show in almost three decades. The site reports that:

“HR got the exclusive that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is apparently trying to recruit as many cast members from the Avengers movies as possible, which includes stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman and so, so many more. The report goes on to detail that sources are saying the Academy is trying to figure out the details of how to get all the recruited cast members to present multiple awards throughout the evening. The move is not all that surprising given that the Oscars air on the Disney-owned ABC, and assembling the Avengers to present a ton of awards would only be a good thing for the upcoming AVENGERS: ENDGAME in April.”
