JZ Says: WWE Main Event Episode 331 (Tyler Breeze, Jinder Mahal)

Reviews

Cajundome – Lafayette, LA – Thursday, February 21, 2019

Byron Saxton, Percy Watson, and Renee Young are on commentary.

~MATCH #1~
Rezar (w/ Drake Maverick) defeats No Way Jose. This is just Rezar’s third singles match in WWE, following victories over Titus O’Neil on the August 6, 2018 episode of Monday night RAW, and a victory over Tyler Breeze a few weeks ago on this show. Rezar uses his size and power to take the early advantage. That advantage carries through the entire match. Rezar delivers a big boot to the face and then a vicious chokeslam to get the pin. Complete squash. Poor Jose.
Rating: *½

~MATCH #2~
The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) & Tyler Breeze defeat Jinder Mahal & The Singh Brothers (Samir Singh & Sunil Singh) in a six-man tag team match. They ran this exact match last week. Maybe they could’ve switched it up a little bit? Would anyone notice if I just used the exact same review as last week? The good guys control the early going, and we take a commercial break. When we come back it looks like the bad guys have been in control and Dallas is the face-in-peril. Axel gets the hot tag and cleans house. Mahal cuts Axel off and his trio is quickly back in control. The match breaks down and the referee loses control. In the end, Breeze hits Samir with the Beauty Shot to get the pin. I enjoy Tyler Breeze and the B-Team. Fine little match here.

They literally ran the exact same match in the main event last week, and the opener is nothing special, so this episode gets a boo from me.

I grew up and now I write for Inside Pulse. Oh, and one time I saw a blimp!
