Honky Tonk Man Interview At Fan House

News

AOL Fanhouse’s Tom Herrera has an interview with the Honky Tonk Man. They start out talking about the Legends of Wrestlemania video game (and Honky’s hope that kids will beat Warrior with him). It winds up covering a lot of ground, from why he’s still wrestling indie shows at 56 years old to what he’d change if he was running the business today:

HTM: I think I would probably just have more real bad guys. For some reason, nobody wants to be a real bad guy like I was and be hated by all the fans. Wrestling should be good versus evil, and right now I don’t think they have enough evil guys.

He also talks about the deaths of so many of his peers (including wrestlers featured in the new game), his new website, his penchant for getting in feuds (he feels like he never throws the first punch), his most memorable ‘Mania match, and his feelings towards Jeff Jarrett (in a possible first, he goes with the “if you can’t say anything nice” school of diplomacy).
