The storyline that culminated in Action Comics #1000 and 80 years of Superman saw a more action-packed (pun unintended) external storyline, the road to Detective Comics #1000 turns out to be a more dramatic internal tale. An interesting contrast for DC Comics’ and the comics industry’s two top icons. Great art and amazing story. 9.5 out of 10.
