RUMOR: Eminem’s Camp Denies Reports That Rapper Is Working With WWE This Fall

Rumors

Late last night, Fightful reported that Eminem had reached a deal to work with WWE this fall on the WWE 2K20 game, as well as an appearance on SmackDown on Fox. Ryan Satin at Pro Wrestling Sheets reports that Eminem’s spokesperson denies any such deal.

“Eminem has not reached a deal with WWE for soundtrack work on WWE2K20 or a future TV appearance, despite a report stating otherwise … this according to his spokesperson.

Fightful reported earlier today that the legendary rapper would appear on SmackDown later this year to help promote the move to Fox, as well contribute to the soundtrack for WWE’s next installment of their popular video games series.

Eminem’s spokesperson Dennis Dennehy, however, tells Pro Wrestling Sheet:

“There was a very brief, exploratory conversation that involved a third party and 2K Sports, not Eminem’s team. It has not gone beyond preliminary discussions, and any reports to the contrary are false. Right now there are no plans to further pursue it.”
