It looks like All Elite Wrestling has a home for its television product coming later this year. According to Twitter insider @fightoracle, Warner Media Group (who owns both TBS and TNT) will be presenting the show to advertisers on May 15. This is so they can gauge advertiser interest for their fall television lineup and will allow marketers to buy commercials several months prior to it airing.
The Wrap website reports that the deal is “definitely not signed” and adds that TNT would be the likely television home along with a streaming component.
Jim Ross had previously said that the network All Elite Wrestling would wind up on would be familiar to wrestling fans and TNT certainly fits that bill. After all, it was the home of World Championship Wrestling until it folded.
