MANY Huge Returns As X-Men Battle To Find Their Place In Marvel! (Legacy Uncanny X-Men #635)

The book opens with a dramatis personae…

…followed by a storyline catch-up and creators’ credits page.

Captain America and the Avengers will turn a blind eye as the X-Men mission is clearly encapsulated; take down those villains who will give mutants a bad name and undermine their role in society stoking more xenophobia and racism.

Later, Cyclops decides he shouldn’t be team leader…

…and the team becomes a leaderless democracy.

Elsewhere Juggernaut and…

…the Brotherhood attack human soldiers; the Brotherhood is led by Magneto and now includes Juggernaut, Toad, Earthquake, Pyro and Maggot Random.

They’re confronted in battle by the X-Men.

In the midst of battle, a few characters are thrown into Magneto and his helmet falls off allowing Mirage to telepathically learn that THAT is not Magneto…

…and also allowing Cyclops to deduce its really Joseph the clone of Magneto.

Juggernaut doesn’t like being duped…

…and turns on Joseph and the Brotherhood; Juggernaut wants to be an X-Man again despite he himself not being a mutant, but powered by an ancient crystal.

Later, Joseph appears to be assassinated by…

…an Asian female that presents as Psylocke, but is apparently goes by Nothing; you may recall that Psycloke is a British Caucasian women in X-Men continuity again. So, Nothing is a separate person.

The book ends with Mirage revealing that Wolfsbane is dead as…

…a grave is teased for next issue.
