Spider-Man, in his black costume aka Venom, is battling Mysterio…
…whose henchman Hardrock…
…wipes the floor with him…
…prompting the symbiote to take action and kill him in a grotesque way!
Mysterio is mortified as he’s been watching, but escapes before the Kingpin arrives.
The book ends with Mysterio meeting up with Dr. Jonathan Ohnn in, it appears, his pre Spot days.
BTW, I was thinking in the use of the villain Hardrock that Marvel was finally using at least the name of one of the Ultraverse IP, but it turns out that character was Hardcase. I still wish Marvel would do something with the Ultraverse.
Anyhow, next up is Symbiote Spider-Man #3.
