Batman’s Greatest Sin Revealed!

Very Fitting For 30th Anniversary Of…

…Tim Burton’s Batman Film!

Swamp Thing saves Batman from his coffin prison…

…with John Constantine getting in on the action even…

…liberating Batman’s utility belt for him.

The Enchantress spirit attacks all three of them…

…but they overcome.

They recruit Zatanna…

…with a side of Deadman!

She helps get to the root of Batman’s problems: his younger self?

What’s up with Batman now? Is he being exorcised?

Batman has travelled back to when his parent dies; his younger self is being cradled by a spirit who…

…Constantine finishes?!

Batman knows where he must go; his problems are not from when his parents died, but elsewhen.

During a battle…

…where he had to choose between life…

…and death.

His sprit switches places with the man he let die?

Later we see that the man who “died” was resurrected as…

…the Joker…

…but is Batman the Joker?

For folks that remember, in Tim Burton’s Batman film, celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Michael Keaton Batman was responsible for the creation of the Jack Nicholson Joker.

The Pulse:

A head trip, in a good way, almost 50-page read with AMAZING art. Not what I was expecting and not clear on the ending which is likely intended by the creators Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo. Entertaining. 8 out of 10.
