The Batman Who Laugh’s Secret Six In Batman / Superman and DC’s Year Of The Villain?
When DC revealed the cover to Batman / Superman #2 and featuring the Shazam Who Laughs I read the solicitation to mean that his character was from the Dark Multiverse.
It also was implied since one of the Dark Multiverse Robins of the Batman who Laughs is Billy Batson.
However, at the DC Year of the Villain panel at SDCC 2019, the following was mentioned:
- The heroes who were subverted were chosen for a purpose.
- Billy Batson’s subjugation is a message to other heroes that are all in in the Batman Who Laughs reach.
- The teaser for the Secret Six asking who was infected has the clues readers need to figure out which heroes have been turned.
