Year One Reboots Today! Still Force New Avatar!

New Zoom?! DC’s Year Of The Villain Arrives!

In the past, Barry Allen in the early days at the Flash…

…needs to defeat the future Turtle and the young Turtle with…

…the thunder of love and hope!

Barry also gets his first experience with the multiverse and his Flash counterparts connected presumably by the Speed Force.

The defeat of the Turtle seems to be a reboot that changes time and history leading to the future Barry Allen the Flash winking out of existence; no future Emperor Turtle either it would seem.

The future looks bright for the Flash and…

…and perhaps his compassion for the younger Turtle may put him on a different path?

We need with a collage of the all the established Speed Force allies of the Flash; looks like they’re all back in continuity in the post Rebirth era.

Then we pivot to modern day where the new avatar of the Still Force called Steadfast…

…tells Barry Allen of the connection of all the various forces plus a glimpse of the future.

We get a tease of the future including new allies, Zoom in a red costume and more?!

Finally, the book ends with teasing the upcoming Rogues centric arc…

…enabled by Apex Lex Luthor’s offer as part of DC’s Year of the Villain.

The Pulse:

Jam-packed action over three stories. Entertaining and intriguing. A nice bevy of artists across the three stories. 8 out of 10.
