Pull List Roundtable 8/7/2019 – Berserker Unbound #1, Babyteeth #15, Archie The Married Life 10th Anniversary #1 & More!

Berserker Unbound #1 – I think it’s odd that after Marvel got the rights to Conan, taking them away from Dark Horse, they are now publishing a story about a barbarian brought to modern times. It sounds familiar, but this is by Jeff Lemire and Mike Deodato, so that’s got me interested.

I’m also looking forward to new issues of Daredevil, Deathstroke, Die, Fallen World, House of X, Immortal Hulk, Outcast, Punisher, Sea of Stars, and Star Wars.

Babyteeth #15 – Nice to see a new issue finally!! Last issue set up some really crazy ideas about Satan, and I have been dying to see where the story goes from there. This will definitely be the first comic I read this week!

Archie The Married Life 10th Anniversary #1 – When they announced this was coming it, I started catching up on the back issues of this. I actually just finished the last trade last night. In the original 4 issue arc, we see two different realities where Archie would marry and eventually have twins with Betty in one reality and Veronica in the other. The ongoing series took place before the kids were born…with both stories ending with Archie getting killed before he had children. The previews for this new version seem to match with the original story and will involve the kids. Who knew alternate realities could be so damn confusing….

Berserker Unbound #1 – When I saw the tease for this one (a barbarian gets stuck in the modern world), I just assumed that Dark Horse was really missing the Conan license…but then I saw it was by Jeff Lemire and I had to pick it up!

Sea of Stars #2/Space Bandits #2 – Two awesome new series from Image. Both set in space, but both different from each other. I had hyped this books when they both came out a few weeks ago, and they were well worth the hype.
