Power Con 2019: Mattel Masters Of The Universe Origins

News

At Power-Con, Mattel showed off their plans for the upcoming Masters of the Universe Origins line. The figures will be 5.5″ scale, & feature interchangeable weapons (that also includes the weapons from the WWE MotU line). They are due to hit in the Fall of 2020, and each single figure will go for $15, while Battle Cat will be $25. The first wave will include He-Man, Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Teela, Man-at-Arms, & Beast Man. Trap Jaw was also shown, but it looks like he will be in a later wave. Also teased during the event in a slide-show panel was a Sky Sled (with Prince Adam), plus a second wave with Orko, Man-E-Faces, & Scareglow.

Also shown was a wave of Mini-Figures that will retail for $5, and come in mini Castle Greyskull packaging. While there was no clarification, it looks like it is possible that these will be blind packaging.

There will be tons more news on these new lines before they are released next year, and you can bet that we will be keeping a close eye on this!

I like Comics, Wrestling, Super Mario Bros & Dead Space. Oh ya, and Scott Pilgrim.
