Ricochet and Drew have a perfectly fine, but forgettable match. Ricochet plays a good babyface in peril until Drew eats the post, a super Recoil, and the 630. Braun and Seth talk about their belts before he demands a Universal Title shot and then just gets it. Then we get some bizarre commentary about them talkinga bout how Braun could wind up being a triple champion winning the Universal Title, the US Title, and retaining the tag titles in one night.
Corbin beats Miz in a nothing match with the End of Days. Corbin goes to the throne and says that he’s where he is because of only one person – himself and says he will be known as King Corbin. Anderson and Gallows talk about getting a rematch and how the OC is the only club that has ever mattered. Bayley takes out Nikki Cross in a quick match with the belly to Bayley. Tag team turmoil starts with the Raiders destroying the B Team before facing The OC. This is a pure brawl and it goes to a no contest. Roode and Ziggler face the Lucha House Party, with Lince eating a nice shot to the floor before Dolph superkicks Metalik and pins him. Roode and Dolph beat The Revival with the Glorious DDT in a bit of a shocker. Dolph superkicks Ryder to take out he and Ryder. Heavy Machinery fall to another Glorious DDT in the strangest one night push in ages. Now they will face Seth and Braun at the PPV.
A goofy recap airs of Roman’s misfortune. Sasha beats Nattie by choking her out with a bank statement crossface using Nattie’s bad arm. AJ talks about facing and of course beating Braun tonight. Cesaro tosses Cedric around a ton and locks on a slick ankle lock before eating a Lumbar Check. Dolph and Roode talk about winning the tag titles before the Street Profits talk about Bourbon Street and run down the PPV card. Firefly Funhouse recap airs. Braun and AJ have a shockingly boring match with AJ somewhat playing face in peril just due to the size difference before the ref gets bumped, the OC comes out and Braun lays everyone out.
