Spoilers, Top Story

Image Comics and Spawn #300 Spoilers follows.

Milestone Issue Features…

BIG Revelations…

…Returns…

…and Debuts…

…From All-Star Creators!

Spawn #300 ties the first independent comic book to reach this milestone in Cerberus #300.

And now we begin.

Well, it seems people across the planet…

…are possessed in some fashion to do uncharacteristic gory activities.

Spawn knows what to do; heads to Albania and confronts supernatural villains…

…and it turns out they are tougher than he realized because one of them is…

…the Violator!

Moving on…

…Spawn appears defeated…

…and the villains blow up the building he was in, but he wasn’t dead!

The villains have his costume, but Spawn notes his powers don’t come from the costume, symbiote, etc.

His powers come from within; he IS Spawn.

Then me move away from this many story to a few back-ups.

You may be wondering what those tickers were in the issue. Well they first appeared in Spawn #1 27 years ago.

It began with all nine’s; whenever he uses a super-power it continues a countdown.

When Spawn #1 ended it was less; apparently when it reaches all zero’s Spawn return to hell or somesuch.

In the first back-up…

…the Redeemer becomes the Reaper.

In the next back-up we have another return.

The penultimate back-up story features…

…debut of She-Spawn.

Finally, in the last back-up, we have someone going up to a mountain monastery.

The book begins its milestone end with a message from creator Todd McFarlane.

We then get a look at…

…all 300 covers of Spawn from 27 years.

Then we get a look at Spawn #301…

…breaks the milestone and…

…is in stores on October 9, 2019.
