Marvel Comics Universe and Venom #18 Spoilers follows.

Sleeper Symbiote’s Post First Host Adventures Revealed!

Dylan Brock and Red Goblin Childe Normie Osborn Vs. The Maker!

Absolute Carnage!

The book opens with a bit on…

…where the Sleeper Symbiote has been since the end of the First Host mini-series (full spoilers here).

He’s now back on Earth and seems to want to Dylan Brock, the son of Eddie Brock who thinks he’s Eddie’s brother, because…

…the Venom First Host Tel-Kar isn’t fresh let’s say, but…

…the evil Maker, the deformed Reed Richards of the Ultimate Universe, stops that from happening.

Dylan Brock and Normie Osborn are thankful, but not pleased with what Maker plans to do with the Sleeper Symbiote and the others symbiotes he’s captured.

To protect Normie Osborn from being experimented on, Dylan does his best Cable and fires on the canisters housing the symbiotes.

Looks like he misses the Sleeper Symbiote’s canister; the other freed symbiotes fight Maker and ultimately consumer him.

This new Hybrid Symbiote (in the past it was an amalgam of a few of the Life Foundation Symbiotes and that symbiote Hybrid would like the red Symbiote on the variant cover above) goes after Dylan and Normie and it appears Dylan has a little Venom in him after all.

However, Wolverine, Captain America and the Amazing Spider-Man are here to take on Hybrid!

A thrilling issue this week; I wonder what’s next for the seemingly still trapped Sleeper Symbiote?
