Rabid was the film that put David Cronenberg on the map for many horror films. His tale of what can go wrong when a revolutionary surgery is applied without real testing made people run down the aisles in fear. This was especially true for viewers who thought they were getting a Marilyn Chambers’ adult feature. Now the film is being remade over four decades later with the Soska Sisters updating the tale of a medical “what can go wrong?” The film will be playing Theaters, Digital and On Demand on December 13 so it’ll be the perfect film to sit down with the whole family and take a breather from the never ending Christmas specials. Here’s the press release from Shout! Factory & Shout! Studios:
