Enter Sojourner Jo Mullein!

Like Any Green Lantern, But Also Unlike!

A Must Read!

Earlier this week, we learned of new powers of this new Green Lantern; for example her Green Lantern ring doesn’t require recharging?! Well, she’s also a human flung to the far reaches of the modern day universe dealing with a world’s first murder in 500 years.

We then get a glimpse of the world she’s on and…

…teases of the challenges before her.

She ends up briefing the Trilogy Council made up of leaders of the three distinct species that make up this world.

We’re introduced to those three heads of state followed by…

…a briefing by Green Lantern Mullein on the first murder victim on this world in 500 years.

She believes more murders will occur and is trying to figure out how to prevent them.

Her first step is speaking to the murderer; he/her/it is in custody.

We then get a flashback to how she became a Green Lantern in the first place; a mysterious ring offering that is like and yet unlike other Green Lantern rings.

The book ends with this world’s second murder in 500 years and the murderer in the presence of this rookie Green Lantern!

However, if the first murderer is in custody, who killed the second victim? Far Sector #2 hits stands on December 11, 2019.

Far Sector #3 is in stores on January 22, 2020.

The Pulse:

A solid debut issue with intriguing story and amazing art. The best Green Lantern book on the shelves today. 9 out of 10.
