Just Who Is The Flashpoint Batman? Thomas Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s Dad, From Flashpoint?

Plus Dead Alfred Pennyworth and Joker?

We open in modern day and the beginning of the final confrontation between the Flashpoint Batman and Earth 0’s Batman.

However, is the Flashpoint Batman really Bruce Wayne’s father Thomas Wayne from the Flashpoint timeline?

The answer is yes. The ultimate revenge of the Reverse Flash Eobard Thawne, who during the Button arc, saw him transport the Flashpoint Batman to Earth 0 to see his son be Batman something he never wanted for his son. Then, the Flashpoint Batman in some misguided tough love exercise aligns himself with Bane in City of Bane arc. We also learn Flashpoint Batman was at all of the seminal moments in the last several years of Batman including his botched wedding proposal to Catwoman Selina Kyle.

We then go backwards in time…

…the thought-to-be final moments of both the Flashpoint Batman and Reverse Flash.

We then see more of Flashpoint Batman in the Flashpoint timeline; he killed his rogues gallery!

He dealt with the ramifications of his wife Martha Kent, the Flashpoint Joker, kill their Alfred Pennyworth.

We see Thomas Wayne kill Joe Chill after…

…killed his son Bruce Wayne in Crime Alley driving Martha Wayne made!

The book ends in modern day as Flashpoint Batman vs. Batman is teased!

The Pulse:

A bit of a science fiction issue of an alternate timeline. Confusing at times, but we final learn that the Flashpoint Batman is not a figment of Batman’s imagination. Decent, grainy, stylized art. 7 out of 10.
