Marvel Comics Universe and X-Men #3 Spoilers and Review follows.

Dawn Of X Threatened By…

…2 Sexagenarians, 1 Septuagenarian and 1 Octogenarian?!

The Quiet Council convenes…

…to deal with a problem with the Savage Land.

The Krakoa portal doesn’t work so Cyclops and a team are sent there.

As the portal isn’t working, a mutant Gateway will help them get into the Savage Land.

They get there and are confronted by the Hordeculture a team of grannies.

In exchange for the info on how they were able to hack the Krakoan portal, Sebastian Shaw offers them some of the flowers they are seeking.

They don’t accept that offer, a battle ensues, and Cyclops has a moment, but it isn’t enough.

We get the history of the Hordeculture and what they’re after and why they have an issue with mutants; one of those “extra” explanatory pages at the end of the book summarize it.

The book ends with the Hordeculture leaving the Savage Land, but…

…the threat they pose remains.

The Pulse:

Solid art and an unexpected story; a fun and unexpected ride. 7 out of 10.
