  • Spider-Man 2099 and Doom 2099 – Real disappointed by this 2099 event. I was a huge fan of the 2099 universe, but this feels a watered down lifeless version. Huge disappointment.
  • Captain Marvel #13 – Some crazy stuff going on in this arc. Carol Danvers being forced to kill Avengers, and in the first issue she took down Thor. Obviously this story won’t stick as is, but it’s still some compelling storytelling, and I damn curious to see where it is all going.
  • Symbiote Spider-Man Alien Reality #1 – Peter David doing flashback stories set in Spider-Man’s past? I am all over this!
  • Dying is Easy #1 – I said this a few weeks ago, but Joe Hill is such a great fit for comics. From what I seen, this is the story of a former cop who becomes a stand up comedian, but gets dragged into a crime noir type of story. Sounds weird, but I definitely am curious about it.
  • Star Trek Voyager Mirrors And Smoke #0 (Of 3) – I was never really into Voyager, but I do enjoy IDW’s Mirror Universe stories, so I am thinking about picking this one up anyway.
  • Harley Quinn Villain Of The Year #1 – I am a sucker for fan-vote polls, so I am curious to see how this one plays out. It had to have been made on a pretty tight time line since they only did voting a few weeks ago. Hopefully that won’t mean this is a very generic book.
  • Superman #18 – The big reveal! Clark reveals his identity to the world! I have seen reviews calling this one of the best Superman stories ever. I have always liked the separation between Clark and Superman, but I trust Bendis to make this interesting at least.
