The book opens with an interesting way of getting readers caught up on the lead and the storyline told from the new Green Lantern’s perspective.
Despite a chase, the Green Lantern didn’t catch the murderer of the, um, murderer.
We learn more about the victim which doesn’t help in the ongoing investigation so far.
What we do learn though is more about the aliens…
…indigenous to this planet and those that came on-planet afterwards.
A cannibalistic sentient society.
The book ends with the new Green Lantern engaging a friend / colleague…
…who wants to dance with her, but…
…it may be because he’s effectively high and the new Green Lantern may become prey?
The Pulse:
A gorgeous drawn issue, with everyone on art firing on all cylinders, depicting an engaging story that can seem dense and convoluted at moments; entertaining throughout though. 8 out of 10.
