Some good stuff this week. I’m looking forward to new issues of 20XX, Ascender, Fallen Angels, Gideon Falls, Immortal Hulk, New Mutants, Oblivion Song (are people aware of just how good this book is?), Psi-Lords, Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren, Trees: Three Fates, and X-Force.

Mike Maillaro
- Batman #86 – James Tynion IV takes over Batman after Tom King’s controversial run. Tynion has done a lot of comics I like, including several good Batman stories, so he is the right choice for this book. This is the comic I am most looking forward to this week.
- Symbiote Spider-Man Alien Reality #2 – Peter David’s “untold tales of the black costume” is a fun take on classic Spider-Man stories. This mini-series threw Spidey into an alternate reality. Not really sure why you have to set that story in Spidey’s secret past, but I love Peter David and this is just an entertaining read.
- Young Justice #12 – WARLORD!!!! I am a huge fan of Mike Grell’s Warlord, so I love whenever we get to see him. Definitely one of DC’s most underappreciated characters. Can we get a new Warlord series coming out of this? I would read it!
- Star #1 – Of all the characters to get her own mini-series, I would have not expected Star. She showed up in Captain Marvel as a villain the last few months…and I am not sure she is all that redeemable. Even worse, I don’t think she’s all that memorable either.
