The Daily Star then gets a scoop with a recording from space where the United Planets is being established and Superman says he will speak for Earth.
They plan to confront Superman and ask him who made him the king of Earth; how can he speak for Earth? Lana Lang, a journalist at the Daily Star and BFF of Clark Kent when they were kids in Smallville, offers to speak to him.
In space, Superman battles Mongul and they’re both targeted by the United Planets’ forces?
The book ends with Lois Lane off to doing some journalist’ing in disguise…
