Marvel Comics Universe and Thor #3 Spoilers and Review follows.

A Galactus and All-Father Powered-Up Herald Of Lighting…

…Thor Vs. Beta Ray Bill!

It’s only been two issue up to this point, but we need a more than 1/2 of a page of narrative to catch readers up on the intricate plot thus far; we also get a nod for the creative team.

Beta Ray Bill, essentially an alien Thor, confronts Thor over allying with Galactus.

A battle ensues and…

…Thor easily swats his “brother” away as…

…he not only has his OG powers of Thor, but also the All-Father Odin powers AND the Power Cosmic of a Herald of Galactus.

However, Thor shows Bill that he is in control and not Galactus, but…

…battle continues and…

…Thor may not be unworthy, but he’s less worthy than Beta Ray Bill to wield Mjolner?

So, Thor uses Bill’s Stormbreaker mallet and destroys it; which has no resonance for me since Marvel has been breaking Norse hammers more than once in the last decade.

The book ends with the Lady Sif coming to Beta Ray Bill’s aid.

An ending spoiled months ago with the reveal of the Thor #4 cover with the Marvel March 2020 solicitations.
