DC Comics Universe and Legion Of Super-Heroes #4 Spoilers and Review follows.

What Is The Brand New Secret Origin Of The LOSH Bendis Style?!

Were They Inspired By Superboy At All?

The book opens with Superboy Jon Kent finally learning of the Secret Origin of the LOSH.

It opens with stories of Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl and Cosmic Boy from their own planets before they came together; then we see them do just that.

We also meet R.J. Brande the founder of the LOSH.

She looks very different from the original Brande.

She believes they can and should do something more together, but then they are attacked…

…forcing the three LOSH founders to band together to take on the threat.

In modern day, Superboy is jostled out of the program revealing the Secret origin of the team as they are all under arrest?!

To end, here’s a look at the classic LOSH who’s who.

I’m all for the diversity BMB has brought to the LOSH. Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the classic, but it is 2020 afterall.

The Pulse:

Solid art and not-as-enticing an origin as I would have expected. 6 out of 10.
