Marvel Comics Universe and X-Men / Fantastic Four #2 Spoilers and Review follows.

EVERYONE Wants Franklin Richards!

Professor X Charles Xavier Vs. Reed Richards Vs. Doctor Doom!

Cyclops of the X-Men and Reed Richards, and family, of the Fantastic Four…

…grapple with the fact that Krakoa is the mutant birthright of Franklin Richards, but not his sister Valeria Richards.

Both kids are missing to them, but readers know they stowed away on Kate Pryde’s Marauders ship and were kidnapped by Doctor Doom and whisked to Doom Island; the FF island equivalent to Krakoa, but not sentient?

We then get a look at how many mutants are on Krakoa in the current Marvel Universe, villains and heroes alike; its staggering.

The Marauders ship was found with the kids and mutants MIA.

The Fantastic Four attack the X-Men in the Quiet Council chambers on Krakoa not believing Cyclops earlier that they don’t have their kids.

A battle ensues and the Fantastic Four escape with a continuing to be out-of-character Professor X Charles Xavier promising to show the FF how the world really is now; mutants are the dominant species and Marvel’s first family are in the way?

The book ends with Franklin and Valeria wondering if Doom really says what he means about helping them reach their potential as…

…he is ready to rollout an armada of Doombots?

The Pulse:

GORGEOUS art depicting a fantasy match of might Marvel teams. Story seems at times inaccessible yet entertaining. 6 out of 10.
