For all the high schoolers that are involved in various bands, there doesn’t seem to be enough movies about these students. This seems to be the one part of education that translates seamlessly around the globe. Sound! Euphonium: The Movie – Our Promise: A Brand New Day arrives right before kids are ready to load up the bus and head to band camp this summer. The Japanese animated film is about the student mentoring the new kids with their instrumental ambitions. The movie arrives in June. Here’s the press release from Shout! Factory:

Factory. Sound! Euphonium: The Movie comes from Kyoto Animation, the critically acclaimed studio behind A Silent Voice: The Movie, Liz and the Blue Bird, and Violet Evergarden.
