DC Comics Two Handed / Two Sided Digital Plan and Publishing Approach To Be Hero and Villain During Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic?! DC Publisher Jim Lee Set To Play Hero!

So, one hand, DC Comics says that their research shows that their digital readers are completely different than their print periodical readers and, for that reason, they will continue to put out weekly digital content in the absence of its print counterparts. Many retailors fear this will drive readers to the digital platform which would be a major threat to a direct market and retailors who will not look the same after this pandemic eases.

However, despite this tone deaf approach by DC Comics, its publisher Jim Lee will be drawing and selling sketches each day for the next two months and provide the proceeds in a lottery of sorts to needy comic book stores during these uncertain pandemic times.
