DC Comics Confirms That Dark Nights: Death Metal Will Lead To Brighter DC & Sort Out Continuity From Doomsday Clock and Rest Of Line! (Sans Spoilers)

Doomsday Clock was significantly delayed from its original intended release schedule. That meant that DC Comics had to move on with its publishing plans without the Doomsday Clock finale springboard; that led to DC, for example, bringing back the Justice Society of America (JSA) in the pages of Justice League this time.

While Doomsday Clock is now complete, the original intent was for it was to clean up continuity and to set up the rest of the core DC Comics super-hero line’s present. Looks like that goal now shifts to Dark Nights: Death Metal according to its writer.

An interesting future awaits?
