24 Year Marvel Comics Veteran Inker Juan Vlasco Passes Away At 51! RIP.

2 weeks ago I told you that I had to leave quarantine to visit a friend at the hospital at the DF.
That friend I visit is, was and will be Juan Vlasco.
I should have written this post a week ago and today I don’t even know what to write.
At the request of Jackeline Orozco de Velasco, his wife, I do so far.
I have to inform you, to the whole comic and comic artist guild, that Juan Vlasco passed away last Friday after a complication in his operation.
He had been diagnosed with appendicitis and went to the hospital urgently.
It turned out apparently well.
The day I visited him was cheerful, we talked about 4 hours, we laughed, gossip, the truth is that we thought everything had turned out excellent.
I was supposed to be out of the hospital in maximum 3 days.
But it wasn’t like that.
Things got complicated and 9 days later he couldn’t anymore.
Still on Monday, 4 days before his death, he responded to me on the messenger and told me that although he was not quite well, he expected to leave in the following days.
IT DIDN’T HAPPEN LIKE THAT
And it hurts so fucker.
Left us the BEST ENTINTER IN THIS COUNTRY.
24 years working at Marvel.
For many of you an artist or co-worker died.
For me, my friend died.
Rest in peace J. Vlasco.
Gonna miss our 3 + hour phone calls carnal.
