Marvel Comics Universe and Avengers #33 Spoilers and Review follows.

MAJOR Thor Secret Revealed…

…As Avengers Defeated…

…By A SUPER Moon Knight After…

…Avengers 1,000,000 BC Powers!

Why and For Whom?

Since it’s been a while since new Marvel Comics have hit shelves, the storyline catch-up and creators’ credits page proves useful.

Moon Knight first takes down…

…Iron Fist.

Then he takes down…

…Doctor Strange.

Moon Knight then steals…

…the Ghost Rider’s ride.

Interestingly, instead of fighting…

…Black Panther surrenders.

The God of Thunder confronts Moon Knight and we learn that the Uru metal that was used to make Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer, is moon rock and can be controlled by Moon Knight.

Turns our Moon Knight can also control moons, literally!

Thor is defeated.

That leaves only two OG Avengers 1,000,000 BC out of his reach…

…Starbrand and…

…the Phoenix.

Moon Knight’s master doesn’t think the power Moon Knight stole may be enough for what they’re planning.

Not sure if Moon Knight had an ancestor in the Avengers 1,000,000 BC, but it seems likely with all the identities he spouts off and that his master is a returned Khonshu.

Next up is Avengers #34 out on July 15, 2020.

The Pulse:

I had low expectations heading into this arc as Moon Knight hardly seemed a match for the Avengers. I was wrong. Writer Jason Aaron crafts a compelling yarn, weaving in elements all the way back to 2017’s Marvel Legacy. I also enjoyed the interior art of Javi Garron. I am intrigued and I was entertained. 9 out of 10.
